Since 2003, our client has been the early pioneer of online price comparison technology in the UK. Their software product and intelligent comparison solutions enable financial services, tech, and media brands to get access to new customers and a full view of financial data streams.
The client faced software limitations, such as the platform’s inability to process large volumes of data or to provide accurate information to end users.
Working on the project, we found the following improvements to be made:
Since Symfony-based apps are typically slower and take longer to develop and test, our team recommended migrating to Laravel. The framework is continuously updated to incorporate the latest PHP features, making the software easier to extend.
We made substantial improvements to the code structure and components.
This extension enables the generation of reports using current and historical data through predictive analytics.
We migrated the system to a new, feature-rich framework and refactored dozens of lines of code, improving overall performance. Our cooperation has also brought improvements for end users and increased their satisfaction rate.
